Growing Together

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but how do you raise a Christian when the village is so full of distractions, sin, and selfishness? The answer is found in this morning’s passage. It takes a  healthy local church to bring a believer to maturity, no matter their age.

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18

“I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” – Matthew 16:18
